RLC Foundation

The Redeemer Lutheran College Foundation was established in 1986 to  assist the College Council in encouraging the interest and financial support of members of the college community  in improving and developing the standards and services of the College.

The Board of Directors of the Foundation manages all funds donated to the Building, Library and Endowment Funds. Membership of the Foundation is open to all donors to the funds of $1000 or more.

A major task of the Foundation has been the development of the Stolz Sports Fields. Its current project is the Good Sports Appeal for $1m to fund the building of a Physical Education Centre as Stage 2 of the Redeemer Sports Centre.

To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the College, the Foundation has launched the Silver Anniversary Wine Offer. A brochure is available describing the wines offered.

2010 Annual Giving Appeal

As we approach the end of financial year, it is a good time to consider supporting your college with a gift that will support the ongoing enhancement of facilities at Redeemer.

As part of the Christian education offered at Redeemer, we aim to provide students with the opportunity to grow and develop academically, physically, socially and spiritually. The college enjoys wonderful facilities and a splendid environment to support the growth and development of our students. However, there are always many projects that we would like to undertake to further enhance the learning environment at Redeemer.

A tax deductible gift to the Building Fund managed by the Redeemer Lutheran College Foundation is a great way to ensure that the building program at Redeemer continues to provide first rate facilities that meet the diverse needs of students and staff.

You may prefer to direct your gift to the Library Fund to supply library resources or to fund visiting author programs.

The Endowment Fund provides yet another avenue for donating. Donations to this fund are not tax-deductible, but they are gifts which go on working indefinitely, since only the interest earned by the funds is used each year for scholarships, bursaries and awards.

Should you wish to assist the college financially but not make a donation, then this can be achieved by opening a ‘Lutheran Laypersons League’ (LLL) account, requesting that your deposit be ‘earmarked’ for the college to borrow against. At present LLL interest is 4.25% with funds at call. For further information, please contact the Business Office.

Gifts of any size would be most welcome. Donors of gifts over $1,000 are eligible to apply for membership of the Redeemer Lutheran College Foundation and we ask that you seriously consider Foundation membership.
