About Redeemer Fair

Redeemer Fair is held annually as the major fundraiser of the Redeemer Lutheran College Parents and Friends Association. Redeemer Fair has become a Rochedale tradition since its inception in the early 80s when it was known as ‘Market Day’. Since then it has grown into a major event for the local community when it is held annually on the last Saturday in October every year.

It is estimated that some 6,500 people visit Redeemer Fair every year. The visitors come from within the college community and include students, parents, grandparents, friends and neighbours. Past students and parents, members of local churches and community also make up for a large proportion of the numbers.

This year’s Fair will be held on Saturday 27 October 2012. It commences at 2.00pm allowing for a relaxed afternoon following family’s involvements with Saturday morning sport. The Fair concludes at 8.00pm with a fireworks display.
