Redeemer Students interview Dick Smith on ABC Radio
Redeemer students together with Dick Smith and Madonna King of 612 ABC Brisbane
Five students from Redeemer Lutheran College had the opportunity to interview Australian entrepreneur Dick Smith, on the 'Student Press Call' segment as part of Madonna King's radio program on 612 ABC Brisbane. The program was aired from 10.30am-11.00am on Thursday 4 March 2010.
The five students who had this unique opportunity included: Vineet Thomas - College Captain (Year 12), Rebecca Pennisi - College Captain (Year 12), Kate McCall (Year 12), Timothy Kiemann (Year 8) and Maria Strong (Year 4).
Television footage was also taken for an ABC documentary called "The Population Project" which Dick Smith is currently working on. Our students will be appearing in this also. This is due to be aired later in the year on ABC television.
