Senior School

In the Senior School we seek to provide the students from Years 9-12 with a range of experiences that enhance their opportunities for successful and meaningful transition from secondary school to post-school pathways. We aim to assist each child to reach his or her potential in the spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, and emotional aspects of the curriculum and in the process prepare them to become responsible citizens in a rapidly changing society.

Mrs Anastasia Strong

Head of Senior School

Students in the Senior School at Redeemer are encouraged to strive to achieve the best of which they are capable in every area of school life. In this way they will not only gain personally, but will, in particular, make proper use of the abilities God has given them. Redeemer promotes the development of the whole person, and the extensive curricular and co-curricular program empowers the student in the quest for a life-long love of learning.

Year 9 students undertake a residential Outdoor Education Program over four weeks which fosters personal, spiritual and social development.

Senior School students can choose subjects from a curriculum which promotes high standards of learning and strives to help each student develop self-confidence and self-discipline. Some may choose to undertake university courses or a school-based apprenticeship, according to their abilities. The Careers Program aims to provide students with information, help them explore the options open to them, assist with self analysis and to reinforce the importance of each individual taking responsibility for their career decisions.
