Sport

basketball.jpg Years 9 to 12 compete in The Associated Schools (T.A.S.) inter-school sporting competition in Athletics, Basketball, Cricket, Cross-Country, Hockey, Netball, Rugby, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Tennis and Volleyball. All team sports are played on Saturday. Further competition occurs in swimming, athletics and cross country between Queensland Lutheran Colleges and also in the South Metropolitan District, leading to Regional, State and National championships. The college competes in the AFL Schools Competition in Term 4.

Music

Senior students are encouraged to participate in musical activities. All ensembles are intended to enrich students culturally, develop their musical skills and also provide a source of enjoyment. The Music Centre has individual teaching studios, music classrooms and an auditorium. Senior School ensembles are: Orchestra, Senior String Orchestra, Flute Choir, Senior Concert Band, Stage Band, Redeemer Chorale, Senior Singers, Worship Band.

A school musical is produced bi-annually. The production for 2011 was "Bugsy Malone".




Other

Chess, Cultural Committee, Debating, Drama Club, Photography, Pottery, Public Speaking.

Duke of Edinburgh Award

Students are able to undertake the Duke of Edinburgh Award programs and may choose to complete any or all of the three levels, Bronze, Silver or Gold.

Other Activities

Other activities available include Amnesty International, Christian Fellowship, computer club, community service group, library service, school magazine production and Student Council.
