Redeemer's weekly newsletter

“The teachers don't just teach course material, they teach life lessons and give valued advice. While students are taught to succeed academically, they are more importantly taught how to prepare for the life ahead of them and how to achieve any goals they might have. Each student can look towards a teacher and see a friend and a mentor. This is my favourite thing about Redeemer and this is what I will foremost remember.”

Kleinschmidt Centre

The Kleinschmidt Centre provides eight individual teaching music studios, a computerised keyboard laboratory, classrooms and a perfomance music auditorium with seating for 270. The Kleinschmidt Centre is named in honour of the founding Headmaster of the College, Mr Robin Kleinschmidt.

The centre provides a focus for the music curriculum and for co-curricular music groups such as choirs, string groups, flute choir, orchestras, concert bands and a stage band. Students enjoy competing at eisteddfods every year and being part of the major musical staged every second year.

The individual studios are also used by tutors who provide private music lessons in brass, woodwind, strings, percussion, guitar, piano, singing and theory.
