The college’s two purpose-built resource centres cater for Junior School (Years Prep to 6) and Senior School (Years 7 to12). The centres offer technology-rich learning spaces with the flexibility to support both formal classes and informal learning groups. Fiction and non-fiction collections combine with online databases to provide a comprehensive suite of resources in a range of digital formats. Central to their mission is the partnership with students and teachers in the development of life-long learning skills.
Resource Centre staff oversee the Information and Digital Literacies Program which provides specific training to students in locating quality information for learning tasks, the use of internet search tools and mobile applications, and reference and bibliography skills.
The college has strong reading programs operating from the resource centres. Regular weekly visits to dedicated reading spaces in both centres – the Reading Pit in the Junior School and the Fiction Gallery in the Senior School - are a focus of the programs which are enriched further by author visits and excursions to literature festivals.
The centres also serve as social hubs for students as well as catering to their recreational needs with ebooks, audiobooks, videos, games, and magazines.
