With over 360 scheduled instrumental lessons occurring each week, and 21 itinerant instrumental tutors filling the studios in the Kleinschmidt Centre, the Music Department is definitely a busy place.
Our co-curricular program is also in full swing, with all choral and instrumental ensembles learning repertoire and making music, in preparation for upcoming Concerts and events, and also just for fun!
On Sunday 17 February, Senior Singers were lucky enough to work with the well-known and highly acclaimed, Mr Paul Holley OAM, Associate Director of Voices of Birralee and internationally renowned Choral specialist. It was a great afternoon for our most senior ensemble, and all students in Senior Singers embraced this tremendous opportunity with joy and enthusiasm.

This week has also seen the youngest ensemble at Redeemer take shape. We welcomed 25 eager and excited Year 2 students to Piccolo Strings on Monday morning – their first ever instrumental ensemble! Additionally, all 64 Year 5 students begin their musical journey on Band instruments – a noisy but exhilarating experience!
