On Friday 24 May, students in Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 had a fun-filled day participating in a number of different activities related to the theme of ‘Celebrating the diversity of languages within the home, culture and community.” The staff had planned a number of different activities for the students to be involved in throughout the session. Some of these activities included: dancing, sandcastle building, art activities, jumping castle, necklace making, chopstick challenges, painting, bubble blowing, chalk art and colouring in just to name a few.
The Prep / Year 1 learning space was filled with smiles, giggles, laughter, squeals of joy and delight. The students and staff had a wonderful time. A big thank must go to our parent volunteers who helped out to ensure that the students had a really special time celebrating being the youngest members of our Redeemer community.
