This morning during a "What is the Bible?" themed Junior School Chapel service, our Prep students sang "The B-I-B-L-E" song, with some fantastic actions to accompany the lyrics, before being each presented with their very own Bibles!
These young students set a wonderful example of praising God, praying quietly, and dancing before the Lord for their fellow Junior School students.
The Prep Bible Presentation is a very special and momentous occasion in the journey of our young students, who then gathered with parents and friends to delve into and share the Bible stories.
A huge thank you to the local Lutheran Church congregations who have donated towards this wonderful gift for our Prep students:
- Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Rochedale
- Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Tingalpa
- Nazareth Lutheran Church, Woolloongabba
- St John’s Lutheran Church, Eight Mile Plains
- St Mark's Lutheran Church, Mt Gravatt
- St Paul’s Lutheran Church, Mt Cotton
And a special shout-out to members from Our Saviour, Good Shepherd and St Mark's who attended this morning to present the Bibles to our students.
We pray that these students grow to know the great, gracious and sacrificial love of our God through the stories they read in their Bibles over years to come.
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." - Psalm 119:105
