A "big family” is a description often used of the Redeemer community. Since the college's opening in 1980, all members of the college community have worked together to ensure the best educational environment for the students.

There is an active Parents and Friends Committee with supporters groups for a variety of sporting and cultural activities. The College also enjoys a thriving partnership with Our Saviour Lutheran Church who worship in Redeemer Chapel each Sunday.

All graduating students are given honorary membership of the Redeemer Alumni and reunions are organised so students can keep in touch.

The first major building to commence construction under Redeemer’s new Master Plan will be the Innovation Hub to be located at the rear of the College, adjacent to the Hospitality training precinct and restaurant. Designed by leading architectural firm, Bickerton Masters, the Innovation Hub is due to commence construction in 2021, and scheduled for opening by 2023. It will be a landmark building for the College creating a contemporary multi-purpose space that houses a range of agile learning rooms for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics). A key feature of the design will be creative Makerspaces (places for students to work together to create and display, particularly with a technology focus). For more information read here.
