For many years Redeemer has been known in the community as the “caring school”. I appreciate the college’s desire to enable the holistic and individual development of each student, and the fact that all students can “have a go” at learning a new sport, a musical instrument etc. The opportunities for participation are not there just for the best performers. I appreciate the striving for academic excellence, coupled with the access to support for students who find academic learning difficult. I love the fact that friendships made at the college are still enduring decades after the students have graduated, and the fact that so many past students are now parents of Redeemer. I appreciate that Redeemer asks, “What can we do for your child?” not “What can your child so for our school?”.
