Elevate

"Enhancing learning, enriching potential and expanding possibilities."

Redeemer Elevate Vision

Elevate nurtures a vibrant P–12 culture where every student is empowered to discover, develop, and celebrate their passions, skills, gifts, and talents. Through diverse academic cocurricular experiences, students are encouraged to embrace challenge, take positive risks, and engage in new learning with curiosity and joy. The program champions academic excellence, personal growth, leadership, and wellbeing—supporting students to build confidence, form strong connections, contribute to community, and flourish as capable, well-rounded young people.

Elevate is Redeemer’s flagship cocurricular academic enrichment initiative, offering Prep–Year 12 students’ opportunities to explore and extend their interests, talents, and potential. Designed to inspire curiosity and foster holistic development, the program provides meaningful challenges that promote academic rigour while highlighting the value of cocurricular engagement in shaping confident, well-rounded learners.

Through Elevate, students connect with likeminded peers within the College and across broader academic communities and industry partners. The program offers a wide range of enriching experiences—from academic competitions and collaborative interschool events to specialised interest groups, workshops, and clubs. Elevate also supports the growth of student leaders, including our College Academic Captains, Griffith University STEM Ambassadors, and Academic Community Leaders, who contribute to mentoring, event coordination, and strengthening Junior School–Senior School connections. These leaders drive engaging initiatives such as the Annual Junior School vs Senior School Challenge, International Mathematics Day celebrations, and a range of STEAM-focused activities.

Key opportunities include participation in the renowned Queensland da Vinci Decathlon—covering ten disciplines from English and Engineering to Science and Creative Production—as well as involvement in the Gardiner Chess regional tournaments and the Queensland Debating Union (QDU) Academy competitions.

Redeemer also proudly hosts significant interschool events, including the Griffith University STEM Cup regional competition, Gardiner Chess Tournaments, and the Regional FIRST LEGO League Challenge.

Students can further engage in academic co-curricular offerings such as Robotics and Coding, Chess, Art, Debating, World Scholar’s Cup, OptiMinds, eSports, and Game Design—each designed to spark creativity, nurture inquiry, and extend curious minds.

Elevate is intentionally crafted to engage and inspire diverse learners, providing rich opportunities that cater to a wide range of interests, strengths, and abilities.
