Worlds Greatest Shave and Sister Snips 2021

This Wednesday, 13 October, five of our Year 12 boys will be shaving their heads, and twelve of our Year 12 girls will be snipping their hair to raise money towards the research and treatment of cancers.

The donations raised will go towards Love Your Sister foundation and the Leukemia Foundation. The girls will also be donating their hair to be made into wigs for cancer patients.

Shaving or snipping hair on the head is a big deal. It’s an extraordinary person that dons the cape for this. They are selfless, brave and big-hearted! Funds raised by these heroes will provide families facing cancer with the special care they need to make it through every scary, uncertain moment that follows a diagnosis.

The students participating are as follows:

  • Boys - Robert Blakeley, Alastair Chow, Sam Eivers, Tim Myatt and Ryan Taylor.
  • Girls - Claudia Birrer, Charmaine Chan, Yanni Chan, Issy Daley, Hannah Dreghorn, Grace Farmer, Shae Godfrey, Annabelle Henderson, Jenny Lu, Ainsley Rudwick and Shanice Timotius.

So far, this group of 16 students has already raised over $7,000 for their selected charities.
Well done, students!
