Admissions and Marketing Officer (permanent full-time)
Redeemer is an independent, co-educational Prep to Year 12 College of approximately 1100 students, owned and operated by the Lutheran Church of Australia, Queensland District. The College is seeking an Admissions and Marketing Officer to take on this permanent full-time position commencing in January 2026, working Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.06pm (38 hours per week).
The Admissions and Marketing Officer supports the work of the Head of Admissions and Marketing to ensure an effective, accurate and professional approach to student recruitment and positively impacts the community’s image and perception of the College.
About the role:
This position includes (but is not limited to) the following:
- Manage inquiries and meet with prospective families regarding enrolments
- Process applications for enrolments, maintain the College database
- Conduct tours of College facilities for prospective families
- Maintain and initiate the gathering of pictorial records of College life
- Maintain the College website
- Initiate and maintain the use of available social media sites
- Provide support and promotions of activities as required for College events
- Maintain and initiate Alumni relations with the College and produce alumni communications
- Facilitate the production of the College yearbook
- Create regular College communications/newsletters.
Skills and experience:
- Proficient content creation skills and processes
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills and an ability to prioritise tasks, meet prescribed deadlines and concurrently manage a number of competing tasks
- Proven industry experience
- Ability to work with staff, parents, students and alumni to achieve positive outcomes
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build rapport and interact effectively at all levels of the school
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High levels of competence in the use of digital technologies for professional documentation and communication
- Maintain a current Positive Notice Letter/Blue Card issued by the Commission of Children and Young People and Child Guardian, at all times
- Willingness to support the Christian ethos of the College.
