Payroll Officer – Full Time Permanent
The Payroll Officer is a School Officer position within the College. The Payroll Officer will administer approved policies and procedures in payroll, human resources, employee relations and related issues.
The Payroll Officer is required to work both independently and as part of the Business Office team. The Payroll Officer will be required, at times, to act with absolute confidentiality with the Business Manager, Principal and/or College Council on highly sensitive staffing and college issues.
The Payroll Officer is responsible for providing financial and administrative services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate operation of the College.

Skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
- Experience in an educational setting, TASS experience is highly desirable.
- Proven time management skills.
- The ability to work unsupervised.
- Support the Christian Ethos of the College.
About the role:
The position includes (but is not limited to) the following:
- Prepare and process the complete end-to-end payroll in accordance with the relevant Enterprise Agreement/Award(s).
- Maintain the Queensland College of Teachers & Blue Card registers.
- Reconcile relevant general ledger accounts.
- Provide support to other members of the Business Office team as required.
