Redeemer Lutheran College is seeking an experienced Teacher Assistant to work in the Learning Enrichment Department. The College has multiple positions involving supporting specific students in our Junior School to engage in all aspect’s college life under the direction and supervision of teachers within the department.
The College has 1 permanent, term-time position available commencing in January 2026, working Monday to Friday 33 hours per week and 1 contract position working 15 hours per week across 3 days.
It will be well-suited to applicants who have experience working with students with additional needs.

- A minimum 1-2 years relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
- Be able to work as a team as well as autonomously
- Actively support the Christian values and ethos of the College.
A Certificate III in Education Support is preferred. Experience working with students with physical needs as well as social and emotional needs would be an advantage.
This varied role may involve some of the following but will not be limited to only these tasks:
- Facilitating small group support to students with specific learning needs
- Working one-on-one with students with a support plan
- Provision of general classroom support where required
- Playground support or supervision of students
- Building a rapport with students and staff involved in the Learning Enrichment Program as appropriate.
