Redeemer's weekly newsletter

“My favourite thing about Redeemer is the music program. The music program is not limited to lessons, but includes choirs, bands and talented ensembles. Each of the ensembles strive to maintain a high standard throughout the year through weekly practises, competing in challenging competitions and performing at college events which all lead towards the ability to extend the musicians to achieve their best. These ensembles are not all work though, they are great places for students to interact with students across grades, and staff with the opportunity to create new friendships. Redeemer’s music program is not only ensembles though, every two years Redeemer puts on a first class musical that a high proportion of the school becomes involved in, across the multitude of areas including creating the props, music, acting or being a part of the chorus. Everyone has an opportunity to be involved. The music program could never be at this level without the devotion of the very talented staff that conduct each band and ensemble, teaching classes, or tutoring the students in across the vast number of instrumental lessons on offer. It is this variety of different factors that help to make Redeemer the school it is and keep it at this remarkable standard.<br”

The Junior School is a place of energy, activity, bright smiling faces and exciting opportunities for students. Every day is full of new experiences. Not only do our Junior School teachers provide learning in the classroom that is fun, challenging and engaging, but we also provide for our students many other learning and sharing experiences beyond the classroom.

Each of the classroom teachers, specialist teachers and support staff work together as a team to allow each child to become an independent, responsible learner.

The Junior School campus is designed to offer each child a happy, secure, caring, creative and nurturing environment where students will have the opportunity to grow and develop holistically. In terms of Pastoral Care, we focus on each child as an individual ensuring that their personal needs are met.

Come and take a look at our Junior School at one of our upcoming College Tours. We'd love the opportunity to show you around our modern, spacious facilities.
