Kleinschmidt Centre

The Kleinschmidt Centre provides eight individual teaching music studios, a computerised keyboard laboratory, classrooms and a perfomance music auditorium with seating for 270. The Kleinschmidt Centre is named in honour of the founding Headmaster of the College, Mr Robin Kleinschmidt.

The centre provides a focus for the music curriculum and for co-curricular music groups such as choirs, string groups, flute choir, orchestras, concert bands and a stage band. Students enjoy competing at eisteddfods every year and being part of the major musical staged every second year.

The individual studios are also used by tutors who provide private music lessons in brass, woodwind, strings, percussion, guitar, piano, singing and theory.
